Since we just sent out preview invites, we wanted to highlight a few features of the new Nipomo.com.

Profile

Your profile page gives you a space on Nipomo.com that represents you. From photos, to blog posts, to updates, the profile page allows you to share your interests with fellow Nipomo fans. Profiles are intended for individuals. If you are a business and would like to create a profile please use the contact form above or email admin@nipomo.com.

Forum

The forum allows the Nipomo community to easily talk to each other. From education issues to news it is a great place to discuss everything about Nipomo!

Classifieds

The classified section allows Nipomo residents to list items for sale. While aspects of classifieds will become paid once the preview period ends, we hope to keep the majority of classified ads free. Classifieds are a great place to list everything from garage sales to cars for sales.

Calendar/Events

The calendar/events page allows users of the site to submit their own events. The calendar is currently preloaded with Nipomo Chamber of Commerce and a few Nipomo High School events but we hope it becomes the calendar for everything happening in Nipomo. The calendar is also built to show events by category/topic. For example, scroll down the events page and on the right you'll see "Popular Event Types". Click one of those types to find all similar events (such as Chamber Mixers).

There are many more features that we'll cover in more detail moving forward but this is a start. Again, please give us any feedback on the site on the forum page.
